Dark Pharaoh is a fan-made monster that appears in Level-Up Dimension.
It's a completely black (with light blue shading) Pharaoh monster. A pair of Mii eyebrows, eyes, a nose, and a moustache are attached to its face.
|Attack||Inflicts physical damage on one party member and other party members adjacent to him/her.|
|Pharaoh's Curse||Puts a black headdress on a Mii. The affected will worship the enemy and offer HP Bananas.|
|Mega Barrier Cancellation||Casts a spell to inflict damage on one party member and other party member(s) adjacent to him/her. Destroys any damage-cancelling barriers on the affected target(s).|
|Giga Power||Spends one turn charging up power, boosting damage inflicted by the user by 1.5x in the next turn only. Does not stack with repeated use.|
|One More Time! (auto)||Allows this monster to perform two actions in one turn, each aimed at a different target.|
The Dark Pharaoh has massive Attack, which can be boosted even more for one attack after a single use of Giga Power. It can also be easily healed if the player let a Mii affected by the Pharaoh's Curse outside the Safe Spot. At higher levels, its high Defense can hinder many physical attackers, so it's preferable to have at least a high Magic job with many magic skills to abuse. It starts out slow, but gradually becomes faster to the point that Tanks won't be able to outspeed it at higher levels. If one plans to use damage-reducing barriers, the Dark Pharaoh can put a stop to them via its damaging magic attack.
Power-ups are scarce when the player challenges this monster. Five Moves is activated at LV. 20, which can be useful if its effect is not limited to a single turn. Max Level Up, a power-up activated at LV. 30 that grants +99 bonus on all stats of a random Mii, is the only other power-up found in this challenge, which is not much if the RNG decided on a Mii that isn't suitable for full combat required to take down the Dark Pharaoh quickly.
Like all Level-Up Dimension monsters, there's a rare chance of a level skip after a level is cleared, the likeliness of it happening increasing the more party members are in a critical state (less than 25% of their max HP). In Dark Pharaoh's case, skips are no longer given if its level is 46 or above.
